Overcoming fear of death

Many people are going to be dying over the next while. It is important to accept this calmly and rationally, and not let fear of death motivate our decisions, because a life that is not fully lived due to fear is far worse than death. Death is an inevitability for all of us. Most of the fear around it is because we have forgotten that, and we have forgotten what death is.

Death is simply the exit out of this world. It’s like turning off the video game and going to do something else. You will still exist, you just won’t have a body on Earth anymore. You will be pure spirit, at least until you incarnate into the next world — possibly Earth, possibly somewhere else.

Death is a release of your burdens on Earth, as well as your opportunities. Nature moves in cycles, and on Earth it is a cycle of challenge and release. Death is simply the final release of that cycle, until rebirth.

Life on Earth is about to get much more challenging for the living, and that is where our focus needs to be. Not how we will die, but how we will live. This is going to set the stage for many cycles to come.

Turn off the media that’s showing you emotional images and videos of people dying. They are not serving you, and you are on Earth to serve a purpose — not to give into fear. Your fear can be used to manipulate and control you. So dispel fear by accepting death, by knowing what it truly is, and not buying into the illusion.

Death is the ultimate awakening, the end of the illusion. People who have crossed over are fine. They are continuing on their journey. Sooner or later, all of us will.

So do not let fear of death be the driver of your life. Live with an awareness that some day this will all come to an end, and all we will have is our spirit, our soul, and the memories and love we made here. Use your remaining time on Earth wisely.

“All men die, but not all men truly truly live.”

William Wallace, Braveheart
